The City is not responsible for trash and recycling collection after a street event.

For block parties, street fairs and other similar events, the event sponsor and participating vendors must arrange for trash collection and ensure the appropriate separation of recyclable materials.

Relevant information as well as contact numbers for the Department of Sanitation will be provided when the permit is issued by the Street Activity Permit Office.
