Collection Bin Removal to request removal of a clothing or other donation collection bin from a public street or area

Litter baskets are placed at commercial street corners along standard collection routes. You can request a litter basket in a new location within a commercial and mixed-use zone.

Requests for replacement baskets are also accepted.

The Department of Sanitation responds to this type of request within five business days.

Requests for a public litter basket in a residential area are not accepted.
