Recycling Theft

You can report recycling theft if you observed a vehicle remove a large quantity of recyclable materials which had been placed out for collection for the Department of Sanitation.

You can submit your report online by using the Recycling Theft Tip Form.

Do not fill out this form to report individuals on foot scavenging small quantities of recyclable material.

Report stolen recyclable materials taken with a vehicle.

You can't remove items, materials, or bags that other residents have placed out for Sanitation pickup.

Only authorized employees or agents of the Department of Sanitation may collect them.
