Homeless Shelter Aftercare

If you previously lived in a homeless shelter, you are encouraged to attend a HomeBase information session about aftercare support services and resources for tenants. At the workshop, you will get help to plan to keep your permanent housing.

You can attend an information session if you left a homeless shelter through one of these programs:

LINC (Living in Communities) rental assistance
NYCHA (New York City Housing Authority)
FEPS (Family Eviction Prevention Supplement)
EPVA/MRT (Eviction Prevention for Vulnerable Adults / Medicaid Redesign Team)

Call the HomeBase office in your borough for more information. The offices are open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
