- Learn about the school
- Enroll your child
- Discuss options other than the zoned school
If you can’t resolve issues or get help from the zoned school, you can contact the school district for help. To find your school district, go to the School Districts page.
No Zoned School or New to NYC Schools
You can get help and enroll your child at a Family Welcome Center if you:
- Don’t have a zoned school for your address
- Are new to the NYC public school system
Using the Find a School Tool
To find your zoned school, follow these steps.
- Visit the Find a School page.
- Type your home address in the School Name or Address search bar.
- Select your child’s grade.
- Select the borough where you live.
- Click the Search button.
- Look for the schools listed under "Current Zoned Schools."
