You can get access to Wi-Fi by borrowing mobile hotspots from one of New York City’s libraries or by visiting a City park.

The Queens Public Library lends free mobile hotspots to library card holders.

Mobile hotspots are smaller than most cell phones and provide Internet access for any Wi-Fi enabled device, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone, almost anywhere.

First time borrowers will be asked to show photo ID and fill out a borrower's agreement. You can borrow a hotspot for one month and renew it up to three times at some Queens libraries.
